MEET OUR TEAM
Behind the The Round Room is a team of creative, hard-working and dedicated individuals who are absolutely passionate about what they do. Collectively, the team has over a century of combined event expertise. We pride ourselves on taking calculated risks, pushing the envelope and moving the skills of our team to a new level which in turn creates experiences that bring concepts to life for our thousands of clients.
Loretta Fahey
Director of the round room
Prior to joining the team at The Round Room at the Mansion House, Loretta spent four years working with The Psychological Society of Ireland. During her time at the Psychological Society of Ireland, Loretta successfully organised medical conferences and events, which among other things, highlighted the importance of mental health in our society. Loretta enjoys meeting new people who share a passion for what they do and working in an environment that allows her to be creative and watch her ideas come to life. She is the calm amongst the storm, always takes everything in her stride with an unbelievable passion for production and events.
IMELDA SCALLY
Director of SALES & MARKETING
Imelda’s drive and passion light up The Round Room. Her energy and positivity are infectious. She encourages and supports her team, inspiring them to perform at their best. Imelda’s dedication to The Round Room, along with sister venues FIRE Steakhouse & Bar and SOLE Seafood & Grill, shines through and she is a hero we are incredibly proud of.
Jan Leonard
Director of business development
Jan began her hospitality experience in her teenage years along the seaside in the west of Ireland working in a family-owned hotel established by her Grandparents, before moving to Dublin to study the industry. Jan joined The Round Room team in January 2015. Jan working closely with her Business Development team oversees the business coming into the venue and their main aim is attracting new business through proactive sales and building long-term client relationships.
Conall Lee
EVENTS & OPERATIONS MANAGER
The cool, calm and collected Conall.. he is the main man who runs each event in the Round Room and no task is ever too much for him, always there to lend a helping hand Conall will ensure your event runs smoothly!
MARK CORLESS
AUDIO VISUAL MANAGER
Mark has worked in the event industry for over 25 years, he joined the creative team in The Round Room in 2013. He has worked on every type of event here such as conferences, weddings, parties, award ceremonies all of which require a top class production, where attention to detail is paramount to the success of the event. He takes a hands-on approach to every event, his priority is client satisfaction, and his team pride themselves on providing the highest standard of production.
MARK GALIONE
AUDIO VISUAL MANAGER
Mark Trained at the Central School of Speech & Drama in London. He was a Technical Manager at Sadler’s Wells Theatre for five years and went on to become a lighting designer mainly working in contemporary dance and ballet. Since 2015 Mark has been the lead lighting designer for High Res Lighting in The Round Room. When he is not in The Round Room he also lights for events, theatre, television and exhibitions.
The Round Room Team are extremely proud to work in such a dynamic and ever-changing venue in Dublin. Each day for the team is different, and they are always delighted to accept new challenges and tasks. It is the positive, hard-working and creative attitude of the team that sets The Round Room at the Mansion House apart from other establishments.
